Founder
Yuriy Kruchak is an artist who incorporates interactive media, video and photography into his practice. He is interested in revising interrelationships between social and cultural groups in post-communist Ukraine, and researching how reality is perceived.
Co-founder
Yulia Kostereva – graduated as graphic artist, she brings her wide knowledge in the field of prints and new media in joint projects that she has developed in the frame of "Open Place". The particular attention the artist focuses to research interrelations of the person and material world.
Partners
Kent Hansen works as a collaborative artist and has as well functioned as an international pioneer in the interplay in-between art and organisations. He is the founder (1998) and organiser of the ongoing project Democratic innovation. The activities of this project focus on participatory production, and 'organising' as an artistic medium. Kent Hansen was recently affiliated with Centre for Art and Leadership, Copenhagen Business School on The Danish Art Council's grant program Artists as Visiting Professors. Lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Yulia Usova – curator, lives and works in Kiev, Ukraina / Stockholm, Sweden. Having background in economics, practical experience in corporate PR/marketing, and a strong interest in the arts and culture, Yulia Usova has graduated the Master course in International Curating Management at Stockholm University in 2008. Her formal position as a curator is also accompanied by projects and concepts, which though they do not always seem to have a direct connection with curating, that she feels are important in broadening the term and role, whilst widening the range of possibilities of different types and definitions of work in the field of art.
